If you want to party with the beautiful people, you need to get an invite to the next Oscar Oscar “do” (ha…is that a pun?).
Celebrating 30 years in anything is an achievement, but thirty years in business is a milestone that absolutely deserves a kick-arse party and Oscar Cullinan of Oscar Oscar fame knows how to do it.
The first Oscar Oscar Salon opened in 1989 in Brisbane and today these prestigious salons are located Australia-wide. When you step inside an Oscar Oscar Salon, you know you are in the home of some of Australia’s best hairdressers. These artisans are regularly involved in events such as Australian Fashion Week and frequently feature in Australia’s leading fashion magazines for their expert hair advice and styling tips, so you know you are in good hands =)
The 30th birthday celebration was held at Howard Smith Wharves, Brisbane’s CBD riverfront event venue. Located beneath the Story Bridge, Howard’s Hall offers breath-taking views of the city and river, and when the sun sets it is the perfect setting for a swanky corporate celebration. Our team always sneak outside to stare at the Story Bridge all lit up, the lights reflecting off the water. It truly is a unique and incredible event venue.
A beautiful party deserves beautiful styling, and our talented team did not disappoint!
A floral festooned grand entry was created using huge clusters of natural coloured blooms and gold sprayed foliage. The pretty people snapped pretty photos in front of this glorious floral installation before heading into the chic banquet hall. With a timeless colour scheme of gold and black, the room had all of our fave styling elements. Gold sequinned tablecloths dripped off cocktail tables like liquid. Elegant cluster lounges provided seating and a spectacular balloon and tassel installation was suspended from the ceiling. A huge LED screen provided the stage backdrop, with a stylish gold mirror DJ booth for our rad female rocker – DJ Clarity.
Champagne flowed, the dance floor was cut and speeches were emotional! It was awesome to witness the journey of an amazing Australian entrepreneur and imagine what it will be like for Event Society to celebrate 30 years in business. The mind boggles.
