In April 2025, Event Society was engaged to deliver the Winton 150 celebrations, a three-day event series commemorating 150 years since the founding of Winton, Queensland. The project showcased how strategic event planning, strong stakeholder collaboration and experienced event management can deliver exceptional outcomes in regional Australia.
Bringing a Community Celebration to Life
Winton 150 was designed as a town-wide celebration, featuring more than 14 individual events and activations across multiple venues and locations. The program brought together residents, visitors, community groups, performers, suppliers and local businesses in a coordinated series of experiences that celebrated the town’s rich history and vibrant future.
From formal ceremonies and community gatherings through to live entertainment, fireworks and a spectacular drone show, the event required detailed planning and coordination across every aspect of delivery.
