Catwalk to a Cure

One in eight Australian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer before the age of 85 and it is estimated that this is roughly 49 women every. single. day. 

This number is staggering, and I’m sure if you are reading this, you will know someone close to you who has suffered with this disease.  Not even just one, but many.

So, when we were approached by Marina Mirage to sponsor the inaugural Catwalk to a Cure to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, we of course obliged.

Knowing the famous pink ribbon logo, we devised a set using a stunning 7m tall pink cherry blossom tree as the centrepiece.  Breast cancer survivors walked the stage in amazing fashion available from Marina Mirage, curated by leading Brisbane stylist, Laura Churchill.

Over 120 guests enjoyed an afternoon of fashion, friendship and food provided by Ristorante Fellini. What an outstanding turn out for an inaugural event!

Even the sky turned a glorious shade of pink as it set over the water.

Raising over $16,000.00 for the NBCF this event was a huge success, and we look forward to being involved for many years to come.
